KIEV, March 18 - The share of foreign capital in the Ukrainian banking sector fell from 34.4% in January 2008 to 32.3% in February 2008, according to a posting by the National Bank of Ukraine on its official Web site.

The bank said that the total registered statutory capital of the country's banks in February grew by 6.6%, or UAH2.875 billion, to UAH46.423 billion.

Since the beginning of the year, it has increased by 8.2%, or UAH3.55 billion.
