KIEV, March 13 - The Illich Iron & Steel Works of Mariupol, one of Ukraine's three biggest steel mills, might shut down production due to price increases for iron ore.

Illich commercial director Valeriy Merkulov said Wednesday that production could become unprofitable due to the steep price increase for ore that is expected to take place on April 1 under a contract signed with the Metinvest group.
