KIEV, March 11 – Ukrainian insurance companies in 2008 are expected to collect UAH20-22.5 billion in premiums, which will be similar to collection rates in 2007, according to Kiev-based Credit-Rating Agency.
According to the agency, the insurance service market this year will depend on the size of car and mortgage loan markets. The banks would actively promote only sales of polices linked with crediting. The experts said that the development of banking insurance could continue as the pace of growth in crediting slows.
