KIEV, March 11 - Ukrainian banks saw a net profit of UAH2.1 billion in January and February 2008, 91% more than the same period last year, according the National Bank of Ukraine.

The total net profit of the banks in February fell by 39% year-over-year, to UAH800 million.

Over the period under review, bank revenues grew 78%, to UAH14.4 billion, while expenditures grew by 76%, to UAH12.3 billion.
