KIEV, March 5 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Wednesday the government will press ahead with removing two controversial traders supplying gas to Ukraine and arranging direct supplies of gas from Gazprom.
Tymoshenko’s comments come as Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company, ended their three-day standoff Wednesday with Gazprom resuming supplies of gas to Ukraine in full.
