MINSK, March 3 – Ukraine and Belarus have signed a contract aimed at creating the first nuclear power plant in Belarus, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko said in Minsk.

"Our cooperation in the issue of building a nuclear power plant [has advanced] beyond the stage of projects," he said.
