KIEV, March 3 – The national nuclear generating company EnergoAtom in 2008 will be able to increase expenses on the purchase of nuclear fuel by 22.9% compared to 2007, to UAH3.228 billion, and expenses linked with removal of waste nuclear fuel by 40.9%, to UAH682.9 million.

This increase is stipulated in the EnergoAtom's tariffs on electricity generated by Ukrainian nuclear power plants in 2008, which the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) approved at a meeting last week.
