KIEV, March 3 – Japan's Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems (SEWS), one of subdivisions of the Sumitomo group of companies, in 2008 plans to invest EUR5-7 million in the initial stage of a project on production of electric cables for Nissan autos in Chernivtsi.

The production of cables will be started in March at the Kvarts plant.

Director of newly created company SEWS-Ukraine, Oleksandr Shlamp, said that soon certification of the company's registration will be received, and the equipment needed for the initial stage will be imported and installed.
