KIEV, Feb. 28 - A moratorium should be declared in Ukraine on the privatization of properties, pending a revision of the privatization program, given Ukraine's admission to the World Trade Organization, Regions Party said.

The Cabinet on Feb. 22 confirmed a list of companies to be privatized in 2008, which has 400 corporations and holding companies, the party said in a statement, posted on its official website. "But on Jan. 16, the government drew up a list of properties, whose privatization proceeds were to exceed the target documented in the 2008 budget," the party said.
