BRUSSELS, Feb. 26 – Kiev and Brussels are considering the issue of the possible exports of electricity in the future, as well as Ukraine's membership in the Union for the Coordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE), Parliamentary Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk and European Commissioner for Energy Andris Piebalgs said in Brussels on Tuesday.
"We discussed the issue of electricity exports in the future, as Ukraine has good potential in this sector and in the development of the all-European electricity market. This is a goal that we would like to reach, but to do this it is necessary to take several steps," Piebalgs said.
