KIEV, Feb. 26 - President Viktor Yushchenko in a telegram on Tuesday told Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to make “urgent” payment of natural gas debt owed to Russian gas giant Gazprom.

Yushchenko also demanded Tymoshenko to show up at his office before 9:00 AM local time on Wednesday to report on the progress of making the debt payments.
