KIEV, Feb. 26 – Ukraine should not raise its spending on education and healthcare, but use the existing funds more efficiently, the World Bank recommended in a new economic report on Ukraine's public finances.
The report, titled "Improving Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations and Public Health and Education Expenditure Policy", maintains that while Ukraine has more doctors and teachers per capita than any state of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, its education and health results nonetheless lag far behind, Deutsche Welle reported.
