KIEV, Feb. 22 – The liquidation of the Ukratomprom state concern will start after the cabinet approves a resolution on the creation of a new concern, Nuclear Fuel of Ukraine, said Natalia Shumkova, nuclear energy and industry head of the Fuel and Energy Ministry.

The resolution would also approve the structure of the liquidation commission, she said.

"It's impossible to liquidate Ukratomprom without a cabinet resolution. Two resolutions on the creation of the concern were cancelled, and we're not able to start the liquidation due to the fact that its regulations say that the government can liquidate [the concern]," she told the press in Kiev on Thursday.
