KIEV, Feb. 21 – Sokrat Financial Company, Ukraine's largest securities trader, has received a general license of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) for currency transactions, Interfax-Ukraine reported Wednesday.
"The receiving of the general currency license allows non-residents to directly work with our company in transactions with securities, and allows Sokrat to be a direct intermediary in the raising of foreign capital for the Ukrainian stock market," Oleksandr Smaliy, Sokrat First Deputy Board Chairman, said.
