KIEV, Feb. 15 - Ukraine’s largest petrochemical company KarpatNaftoKhim expects to have losses of about $5.5 million per month in 2008 from processing of pyrolytic raw materials due to growing prices for energy, the company reported Friday.
The Kalush-based KarpatNaftoKhim, majority owned by Russian petrochemical company Lukoil-Neftekhim, has been considering over the past several weeks whether to shut down production or to keep running with the losses.
