KIEV, Feb. 12 - Ukraine's largest bank PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) announced it has acquired a 75%-plus-one-share stake in the European Development and Savings Bank in Simferopol.

"The EDSB has joined the PrivatBank group. In a deal with EDSB shareholders, PrivatBank acquired 75% plus one share of EDSB," the bank said. The NBU has allocated a UAH200 million stabilization loan to speed up EDSB restructuring, the release added.
