KIEV, Feb. 13 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny and Gazprom, the Russian gas monopoly, will start talks on Thursday seeking to create new entities that are supposed to replace two controversial gas traders, the Ukrainian company reported.

The talks are a follow-up to a principle agreement between Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin reached Tuesday that bilateral gas trading must become more transparent.
