KIEV, Feb. 11 – Representatives of the State Nuclear Regulatory Committee and the non-profit European Economic Interest Group Riskaudit IRSN/GRS International (France) have completed their inspection of the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant, the plant's information center reported.

The Ukrainian experts were checking the compliance of plant's staff with norms and standards of nuclear and radiation safety during the operation and maintenance of the equipment, whereas the European experts were checking the implementation of the program for raising the safety of Khmelnytsky's reactor two. The program is being financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Euratom, among others.
