KIEV, Feb. 8 - Ukraine's industrial producers raised the prices for their products in January by 2.3% compared to 3.2% in December 2007, the State Statistics Committee reported.

Industrial prices grew by 23.3% compared to January 2007, the committee reported.

The highest growth in prices was seen in the chemical industry – an 8.8% rise, mostly driven by the price of gas, imports of which grew in Ukraine to $179.5 from $130 per thousand cubic meters.
