KIEV, Jan. 28 - Oil product prices in Ukraine will fall soon, Sergey Lizunov, TNK BP's commercial president, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said since the beginning of 2008, an oil price slump of 7% to 11% had occurred on the international markets, and this would influence prices on the Ukrainian oil market.
"This is additional evidence of the fact Ukraine is integrated into the world market and is influenced by it when oil prices either fall or rise. In several weeks, when the remaining comparatively expensive oil is sold and new import contracts are in effect, petrol and diesel fuel prices in Ukraine will fall. The fall could be from 6% to 7% in wholesale and 5% in retail sales," he said.
