KIEV, Jan. 24 - Italy's UniCredit Group is completing a deal on the acquisition of Ukrsotsbank, which is among the top-five Ukrainian banks, from Viktor Pinchuk, a source in the banking circles has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The largest shareholder in Ukrsotsbank, Ferrotrade International, which owns an 86.15% stake in the bank, said on Wednesday on the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market's Web site that at a general meeting the shareholders in the closely held corporation on Jan. 21 replaced Chairman: Gianni Franco Papa, who worked in UniCredit from 1998, replaced Mykhailo Troyan, the representative of Pinchuk.
