KIEV, Jan. 24 - Britain's European Minerals Corporation (EMC) said that it plans to take part in the development of the Muzhyevske gold deposit in Zakarpattia region, investing funds in it and using modern technologies.

Ukrainian Polimetally Deputy Board Chairman, Artem Basmadzhan, told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday that EMC had in 2005 sent a letter to Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko with a request to consider the participation of the corporation in the development of the field.
