KIEV, Jan. 23 - OAO TVEL (Russia) will supply this year's first batch of fresh fissile fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants in February, the national nuclear power generation company EnergoAtom said on Wednesday, referring to a schedule approved by both sides.

The first batch of fuel will go to Ukraine's and Europe's largest nuclear plant, Zaporizhia.

TVEL and EnergoAtom in December signed a contract setting volumes and supply terms for deliveries of fresh nuclear fuel to Ukraine's nuclear power plants in 2008.
