KIEV, Jan. 11 - The State Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank) on Thursday announced it received the first 2008 budget tranche of $198.2 million to pay compensation to depositors.

"Oschadbank is to start first payments on Jan. 11. All depositors, who on January 8 revised information in the register of depositors in Oschadbank, are able to open current of deposit accounts and receive refunding," but no more than UAH 1,000 to each depositor, reads the report.
