KIEV, Dec. 29 - The refunding of defaulted deposits in Ukraine in 2008 will affect around 10 million Soviet-era depositors and owners of Soviet-era securities, according to an explanatory note to the 2008 national budget approved by Parliament on Dec. 28.

Paying for this program will be around UAH12 million of privatization proceeds.
