KIEV, Dec. 29 - Royalties for natural gas and oil, which is produced in Ukraine and supplied to commercial consumers or pumped into underground storage facilities, will increase by several times as of Jan. 1, 2008, according to the 2008 budget approved Dec. 28 in Parliament.

In addition, the budget introduced royalties for gas extracted in sea shelves for 2008.
