MOSCOW, Dec. 20 - Fitch Ratings has assigned the city of Kiev Long-term foreign and local currency ratings of 'BB-' (BB minus) with Stable Outlooks and a Short-term foreign currency rating of 'B', the agency said in a press release.

Fitch also assigned Kiev a National Long-term rating of 'AA+(ukr)' with Stable Outlook. Fitch has also assigned the City of Kiev's $250 million 8.25% loan participation notes due November 2012 a Long-term foreign currency rating of 'BB-' (BB minus).
