KIEV, Dec. 17 - The Bogdan car corporation, one of the largest Ukrainian car producers, in January through November increased output of passenger cars produced at its plants in Lutsk, Cherkasy and Illichievsk by 30.4% year-on-year, to 48,679 cars, Bogdan spokesman Serhiy Krasulia told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that over the period under review, a total of 17,742 VAZ cars were assembled, while in January through November 2006 this was 29,057 cars; Hyundai car output grew by almost four times, to 15,005 cars, and Kia car output grew by 3.6 times, to 15,932 cars.
