BRUSSELS, Dec. 17 - The European Union and Ukraine have officially announced the launch of negotiations on a Common Aviation Area agreement.

The aim of the document is to further deepen aviation relations with Ukraine following the signature of similar agreements with the Western Balkan countries and Morocco, the European Commission said in a press release.
