Kiev, Dec. 10 - National energy company Ukrenergo's investment program for 2008 will amount to UAH1.328 billion, 51.4% higher than this year.

The company's 2008 investment program was approved by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission but the commission rejected an Ukrenergo proposal to allocate UAH 208 million in the 2008 investment program to increase financing for the project to build the Adzhalyk-Usatove overhead power transmission line. Neither did it support the proposal to set aside UAH 10.75 million for the registration of state deeds for the use of land plots where the company's energy facilities are located.
