KIEV, Dec. 4 - President Viktor Yushchenko has demanded more wards be opened at the national hospital for children with AIDS and has pledges to find more funding for the hospital by the end of 2007.

Speaking at a meeting on the effectiveness of the fight against HIV/AIDS in Ukraine on Tuesday, Yushchenko said the hospital for children with AIDS existed only on paper.
