DONETSK, Dec. 3 - Ukraine will take a separate decision on the fate of each coal mine deeper than one kilometer, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych said.

"There will be an individual approach on each coalface and level," he said at a briefing in Donetsk on Monday.

Yanukovych said that there should not be a mechanical approach to this issue.
