KIEV, Nov. 29 – Arseniy Yatseniuk, Ukraine’s pragmatic and pro-Western foreign minister, on Thursday was tapped by Our Ukraine-People’s Self-defense as a candidate for post of the speaker of Parliament.

The party decided to drop the nomination of Viacheslav Kyrylenko, the leader of Our Ukraine, as a concession enabling its six rebellious lawmakers to sign an agreement creating pro-Western coalition.
