KIEV, Nov. 27 - Global warming may lead to a demographic disaster that could affect Ukraine, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Francis O'Donnell said during the presentation of the UN Development Program's latest Human Development Report "Fighting climate change: Human solidarity in a divided world," in Kiev on Tuesday.

O'Donnell said that if the problem of climate change is not addressed, this may lead to disaster for civilization, adding that Ukraine's population would decrease by 25% within the next 25 years.
