KIEV, Nov. 28 - Ukraine may hike the tariff its charges Russian gas giant Gazprom for moving gas to markets in the European Union in response to a suggested major gas price increase, Economy Minister Anatoliy Kinakh said Wednesday.

Ukraine reacted to Gazprom’s announcement Tuesday that it had accepted an up to 50% hike in the price of Turkmen gas in 2008, which will probably steeply boost prices of Ukrainian gas imports.
