SIMFEROPOL, Nov. 21 - The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has agreed on the construction of a cement plant in eastern Crimea (Leninsky district), according to the local authorities.

The facility's output capacity will be 3.5 million tons of cement a year.

At meeting on Wednesday, the Crimean Supreme Council approved documents on the location of Alcem Ltd.'s facilities for building the cement plant at a 65.5-hectare site from the reserves of Pryozerninsky village council, Leninsky district.
