KIEV, Nov. 8 - Ukrainian banks saw a profit of UAH5.6 billion in January through October, 51.4% more than the same period last year, the National Bank of Ukraine said Thursday, citing preliminary data.

Over the period, banks' revenues were UAH53.1 billion, while expenditures were UAH47.5 billion.

The NBU said that in January through October, the banks' balance capital grew 45.8%, or by UAH19.5 billion, to UAH62 billion.
