KIEV, Nov. 7 - The board of directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved the allocation of a EUR150 million loan to UkrEnergo for the purpose of building a power line from Rivne Nuclear Power Plant to the Kyivska substation, EBRD spokesman Anton Usov told Interfax-Ukraine.
The loan is to be used to build a 750-kilovolt-power transmission line between the Rivne nuclear power plant and the Kyivska substation. The project also foresees a branch of the line being built from the Khmelnytskiy and Chornobyl nuclear power plants to the Kyivska substation.
