KIEV, Nov. 2 - It is necessary to be prepared soon for the price of gas supplied to Ukraine to approach the level of world gas prices, said Viktor Yanukovych.

"An objective [reality] is that the gas price for Ukraine will approach world prices. We should take all necessary measures to facilitate the adapting of our economy, budget, and households to such new prices," he said at an extended Cabinet of Ministers meeting with the participation of President Viktor Yushchenko in Kiev on Friday.
