MOSCOW, Nov. 5 - The Odessa-Brody-Plock-Gdansk oil pipeline will not be able to offer competition to Russian trunk pipelines, according to Nikolai Tokarev, oil pipeline operator Transneft's new chief.
"It cannot be viewed as a rival to Russian pipeline systems, because its rated capacity is nine million tons. If this compared to 450 million tons of oil pumped through the Transneft system, there is nothing to comment on," Tokarev said in an interview with Interfax and the Vesti TV channel.
