KIEV, Oct. 30 - Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko has offered assurances that the financial standing of national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny will improve.

The Ukrainian government's decision on the possible sale by Naftogaz of natural gas extracted from Ukrainian territory by heating enterprises, budget-funded institutions and gas transportation organizations will significantly improve the company's financial standing and will "enable the company to significantly revive itself and receive additional profit," he said.
