KIEV, Oct. 25 – The reconstruction of Donetsk international airport will be completed in 2010, the State Aviation Administration forecasts.

The total budget of the project is UAH625.61 million.

"The construction of a new runway, 4 kilometers long and 60 meters wide, has already started in Donetsk. The design of the passenger terminal is complete. I think construction will start next year. There is certainty that in 2010 the airport will be operational," said the head of standardization and certification of airports' department of the administration, Vasyl Momot.
