KIEV, Oct. 22 – Ukrsotsbank could change its plans on increasing its assets due to the international crediting crisis, which has affected the funding of the bank, the bank reported.
"According to our tentative plans, net assets in 2007 should exceed UAH30 billion. However, the situation on the foreign markets, which have actually been closed to borrowers from the emerging markets, could cause our plans to change. The restrictions on external financing could lead to the fact that at the end of the year net assets will reach UAH 28.5-29.5 billion," said Ukrsotsbank Chairman Borys Timonkin.
