KIEV, Oct. 20 – The Regions Party (PRU) headed by Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych has vowed to continue its organizing efforts to promote a referendum concerning official status for the Russian language, non-alignment status for Ukraine and election of regional state administration heads.

“The Party of Regions continues organizing the referendum. Collected documents are transmitted to the Central Election Commission,” says a party declaration issued over the weekend.
