KIEV, Oct. 15 – Simferopol-based state ChornomorNaftoGaz hopes in 2008 to resume sales of gas to commercial consumers in order to receive additional funds to increase its resource base, ChornomorNaftoGaz Board Chairman Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said at press conference in Simferopol.
He said that according to forecasts, the public's demand for natural gas in 2008 is estimated at 18 billion cubic meters, while 20.7 billion cubic meters is extracted in the country. ChornomorNaftoGaz could provide Crimean households with gas and still have some left over to sell to industrial companies, he said.
