KIEV, Oct. 9 – Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee has permitted AXA company (France) to purchase a large stakes in Kiev-based Ukrainian Insurance Alliance (UIA) and Vesko insurance company.

As the AMC told Interfax-Ukraine, the purchase will provide the French company with over 50% of the votes on the companies' boards.
