KIEV, Oct. 3 – The Kiev-based Ukrindustria consortium has won a tender to build a coking plant for India's IISCO steel mill, which could become one of the largest contracts implemented by a Ukrainian company abroad in the metallurgical sector, Ukrindustria board Chairman Dmytro Derkach said in an interview with the Ekonomicheskiye Izvestiya newspaper published on Tuesday.
He said that the capacity of the coking plant is 880,000 tonnes per year. The chief designer is Kharkiv State Institute for Designing Coking Plants Hyprokoks.
