BRUSSELS, Sept. 27 - The Ukrainian customs service plans by January 2008 to launch processing of electronic declarations and electronic signatures as a part of the program to transfer to an electronic customs system in line with that of the European Union, State Customs Service chief Oleksandr Yehorov told the press in Brussels.

He was speaking after talks with representatives of the EU held as a part of a meeting of the Ukraine-EU subcommittee for customs and cross-border cooperation.
