KIEV, Sept. 20 – The share of foreign capital in the Ukrainian banking sector fell from 31.7% in July to 30.2% in August, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

The bank said that the total registered statutory capital of banks in August grew by 8.6% or by UAH2.8 billion, to UAH35.393 billion, while in January through August it grew by 34.8%, from UAH26.266 billion.
