PRAGUE, Sept. 19 - The leftist Slovak government Wednesday passed a draft agreement on securing long-term electricity supplies from Ukraine, which now awaits approval by the Ukrainian side, the Czech News Agency (CTK) reported from Bratislava.

"We expect an answer to come or for the agreement to be signed by October 30 this year," Slovak Economy Minister Lubomir Jahnatek told the agency.
